Manhattan’s socialites came out in full force for Fashion’s Night Out, the Vogue-sponsored initiative to re-awaken consumerism at retailers in the city. Byrdie Bell and Eleanor Ylvisaker were at Lord & Taylor to honor photographer Patrick McMullan, while Nicky Hilton and her future sister-in-law Laura Katzenberg made an appearance at Valentino. Hayley Bloomingdale and her new boyfriend, Winston Lapham, were on hand to support Carolina Herrera at Saks Fifth Avenue. Julie Macklowe donned cowgirl gear for David Yurman’s Western-themed hoedown. Rachel Roy hosted a shopping benefit for New Yorkers for Children at her pop-up boutique in Soho as Tory Burch welcomed the masses to her own store.
